I’ve never taken photos before, I’m worried I’ll be awkward!
Perfect! I would actually prefer that you haven’t! I go into every shoot with a plan of different photos I want to capture. If there are any specific shots you want, let me know ahead of time. But if you just want to trust the process, then don’t even think about it and let me take care of making you look your best! My job is to make you look your best!

How many photos do I get?

What if I can’t decide on the photos I want?
Trust me, I STRUGGLE narrowing them down, so I know the feeling! When I deliver your gallery, I’ll add a favorites list of the ones I would personally choose. So if you can’t decide between a few, you could go look and see which one I choose between the two!

How many people can I bring to a session?
For the number of people that are going to be in the photos, you have up to 5 individuals. After 5, every additional person will be $25. If you’re wanting people just for moral support, then bring as many people as you want, the more the merrier!

How many outfits can I change into? And will I have to change in my car?
This depends on the session you choose. The longer the session, the more outfit changes you have! I do this because I want to make sure we have plenty of photos in each outfit without being rushed! I want my sessions to be relaxed and fun, but if you’re trying to change into 6 outfits in an hour session, we won’t be able to get into a rhythm without stopping to change!

What should I wear?
Whatever you’re comfortable in! I feel so strongly about this. I don’t care if it’s not trendy, if you feel your best in it, then that’ll come through in your photos. If you decide to buy something “cute” and “trendy” but you feel kind of awk in it, then please don’t wear it. If you feel like your outfit is too tight, or too baggy or something like that, you’re going to remember that negative feeling every time you look at your photos. If you need some help style-wise, I have a guide I can send you for some inspiration!

Can I bring my dog?
HECK. YES. YOU. CAN! Just let me know ahead of time! You’re welcome to have your dog the entire shoot, but what I typically do is bring in your dog in the last 15 min or so. We’ll need to decide if we need to stay close to the car to grab them real quick, or if it’d be better for us to have an extra person there to hold the dog so we’re not having to go far back and grab them. But trust me, we’ll make it work. Make sure to bring their favorite squeaky toy!

Madeline was so professional & friendly. We were new to town when we did our engagement shoot so we were already pretty uncomfortable & felt out of place.
