Morgan and Ryan’s love story is the kind that feels straight out of a movie! They got engaged along the Eastside Greenway while walking their dog, a place that already held so much meaning for them. To make the moment even more special, Ryan reached out to a local artist who frequents the area to paint the proposal in real time. Since they didn’t have professional photos from that day, we knew we had to revisit the spot and capture its magic. This NYC engagement session was such a dream, and i’m so happy I was able to capture it for them!

Adventurous Moments from a NYC Engagement Photoshoot

After soaking in the nostalgia at their proposal spot, we hopped on the subway! Bound for one of their favorite hidden gems in the city—Osteria 57. There’s something about New York’s subway that adds an unfiltered, electric energy to any moment. And some of my favorite shots from the session were captured right there, mid-ride. The movement, the city’s hum, and their effortless chemistry made for photos that felt undeniably raw and real. Of course, in true NYC fashion, we encountered a few unexpected hiccups along the way (because what’s a subway ride without a little chaos?), but you’d never know it from the way they embraced the adventure.

When we arrived at Osteria 57, we were welcomed into a rare moment of tranquility—the entire restaurant was ours to enjoy before it opened. The warm, intimate ambiance created the perfect setting for them to relax, share quiet laughs, and truly be in the moment together. As the city buzzed just outside, inside, it was as if time slowed down, making for the dreamiest, most romantic end to their session.
