There’s just something about a beach wedding that makes everything feel effortlessly romantic. The sound of the waves, the salty air, and that golden glow. It all creates the perfect backdrop for saying “I do”! For this design shoot at Corona Del Mar in Newport Beach, CA, we leaned into all those dreamy beachy elements but added a little twist: metallic details that shimmered in the sunlight.
This wedding shoot was all about elevated design. As a result, we let the tablescapes do the talking, and honestly, it stole the show!
Elevated Beach Wedding Design at Corona Del Mar
This setup leaned into a minimalist palette with high-impact details. The white linen created a soft, sun-bleached base. Meanwhile, mirrored silver chargers and flatware brought that crisp metallic edge. Each place setting featured a modern dish, layered with neutral-toned menus that felt tactile and thoughtful. To keep the design dynamic, we used clear pillar vases and tall silver tapers. Florals were kept minimal. In fact, just a few white anthuriums bending gently in the breeze did all the talking with their sculptural form.
Corona Del Mar Wedding | Coastal but Not Cliché
What we loved most about this setup was how it felt rooted in the natural beauty of the beach—yet totally elevated. No seashells or nautical stripes. Rather than leaning into coastal clichés, we used raw rock accents and smooth stone-like textures to bring in organic elements without leaning into a theme. It was all about subtlety and balance. The metallics caught the sunlight in the most magical way! This added dimension without overpowering the soft tones of the beach.
