This naturally lends itself to a classic wedding photography style, but Madison and Mason wanted something different. They envisioned a more editorial, high-fashion approach while still embracing the timeless elegance of their day. Their wedding at The Southern Hotel and Beau Chêne Country Club was the perfect blend of classic romance with a modern twist. This New Orleans wedding was such a dream come true to capture!
Capturing Candid Moments with an Editorial Flare
Throughout the day, I balanced capturing authentic, in-between moments with intentional, editorial-style portraits. Madison and Mason wanted their photos to feel cinematic yet effortless—like a spread in a magazine but still true to who they are. From the gorgeous halls of The Southern Hotel to the lively celebration at Beau Chêne, every detail played into their vision. My favorite shot hands down has to be the champagne tower moment!

Madeline was so amazing!! She made our photo shoot super relaxed and fun! There were no awkward posed photos. The photos really showed our true personality and were beautiful! Madeline was so professional & friendly. We were new to town when we did our engagement shoot so we were already pretty uncomfortable & felt out of place. On top of that my fiancé is not a fan of being in front of the camera so we were quite nervous when we showed up & she made us feel right at home instantly. I’m amazed with how well she captured us, she made us laugh, was on time, & I loved the pics so much. I used them for save the dates & had some printed & framed for our home. 10/10 would recommend.
