This May, I had the pleasure of capturing Kelsey and Phil’s destination couples session in Mykonos, right before the summer season kicked into full swing. Mykonos’s famous architecture creates a magical setting, and the white-washed walls acted like natural reflectors, giving us perfect lighting from every angle!! It was busy, even in the off-season, but we embraced the lively energy and explored the quieter, more residential areas before making our way to the windmills.

The iconic windmills of Mykonos stand as a stunning reminder of the island’s rich history. Once essential for grinding wheat into flour, they now serve as postcard-perfect symbols of the island’s charm, attracting visitors from around the globe. These historic structures, set against the brilliant blue of the Aegean sky, made a breathtaking backdrop for some of my favorite photos of the day.

Kelsey’s vibrant, colorful dress added an extra layer of beauty to the scene, creating a striking contrast against the stark white buildings and azure sea. Her energy and style brought the photos to life, and the synergy between her and Phil made every shot feel effortless and authentic.

Photographing this wonderful couple is always a delight, but capturing their moments in a destination as magical as Mykonos was truly unforgettable. The combination of their love, the dynamic colors, and the timeless scenery made for a day of photography that I’ll always treasure.
